Our Executive Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Ari TOIVOLA as our new Managing Director of NAVICE Oy. As Managing Director, Ari is stepping up to lead us into an exciting new era.

Ari’s journey in shipbuilding began in the early 80th as an installer of ship interiors, fastly growing to supervisor, site/project/department manager. Ari has more than 30 years of experience connected to ship interior areas like galleys, pantries, provision stores, laundry and cabin areas, restaurants, bars, staircases, wheelhouses, air-conditioning rooms, crew and public areas, etc. His passion, leadership, and profound understanding of shipbuilding led him to become the Managing Director with the ability to improve business and build a strong basement for future growth. Known for his deep humanity and extensive experience in managing multicultural teams, Ari is a natural leader ready to steer our ship.

He succeeds Jani SORTTI, the founder and historical Managing Director of NAVICE. Jani will continue to serve as a Board Member, focusing on managing our new business segment development. Jani expressed his confidence in Ari: “I am proud to see Ari stepping up. His leadership will ensure a natural continuity and drive NAVICE to even greater heights.”

Ari will be supported in this new adventure by both founders of NAVICE, Mika KARHU and Jani SORTTI. All have worked together for many years and are excited to join one team.
